| MARRIAGE COURSES

In a world where marriages are targeted and torn apart, we would like to offer hope.
We have a series of different courses we offer to couples. All of which are to help you know
God better, and gain a deeper and more satisfying relationship with your spouse. Understanding.
And through understanding why we do things we hate, why it’s so hard to forgive, or what
Covenant is really all about, we hope to help relationships be restored.

| SINGLES GUYS MENTORING

This program is 2-5 day program specifically for guys 17 years and older who are struggling to find their identity and purpose in life, or wanting to be free from addictions they
are experiencing.
We want to listen to your stories; understanding, and caring for your experiences,
and offering you healing through Jesus.
We want to give guys a chance to start over, and walk through forgiveness to
victory in Christ.

| PREMARITAL MENTORING

For those on the threshold of a new beginning…..Marriage! We want to celebrate
with you, the joy of this step in your life.
With Marriage comes commitment, and we would like to help you prepare for it by
exploring the Covenant of Marriage, helping you identify past hurts that may interfere
with your relationship with God and each other, and finding resolution so you can walk
into marriage the way God intended it.

ADDITIONAL RETREATS & COURSES

| DISCIPLESHIP COURSES

This course is a weeklong, group event held at Pilgrim Hills. It focuses primarily on spending time with the Lord, through prayer, fasting, waiting on the Lord, studying His Word, and then having discussions and testimonies.
It is designed for couples or individuals to take time away from the busyness of everyday life to get to know the Lord better.

| TRANSFORMING STORIES
Transforming Stories is a weekend Ladies retreat hosted by Mary Yoder at Pilgrim Hills. Ladies from the ages of 15 and up are welcome to come and participate. Each lady creates a “story rope” which is a unique way of allowing you to see your life story in a beautiful way; The happy moments, sad times, trying times, and also what God had to say in each of those moments. Following, there will be opportunities for group discussions, and prayer. A great group retreat!

| FATHER & SON BLESSING DAYS
On a journey to more deeply understand the significance of a father’s blessing, this father & son weekend retreat was birthed out of a desire to help restore the relationships of father’s and sons. To help understand the power of blessing in your life as a father and how you can pass that on to your sons, like in the biblical example of Abraham and his sons. It is also a time of connecting and having some good outdoor camping fun!

I understand that the staff of Pilgrim Hills and those associated with them are not professional or licensed counselors, therapists, psychiatrists, medical or psychological practitioners, or if they are licensed in one of these areas, they are not practicing in this area. I understand that the persons counseling me are “pastoral counselors” in the Christian Faith, who are helping me assume my responsibilities in finding freedom in Christ. I also understand that my pastoral counselor may need to intervene if he or she suspects that a child (under the age of 18) is currently endangered by abuse or if there is suspected dependent adult abuse or if I am a danger to myself or others. I also understand that I am free to discontinue this pastoral counseling at any time and am at the facility voluntarily. I release the board of trustees and staff at Pilgrim Hills from any choice I make, or arising from the counseling service or guidance I receive.
